Portia Integrates With Electra Systems, Managers Get Direct Trade Notification

Thomson Investment Software has formed a joined marketing agreement with Electra Information Systems. With the agreement, the firms have created an interface between Thomson's flagship product, Portia, and two Electra packages, the Advanced Custodian Trade Notification System, or Action, and Securities Transaction and Asset Reconciliation System, or Staars.

The interface is live at one Portia user, AIM Advisors of Houston, which signed a license for Portia last summer.
