Bear Stearns And Oppenheimer To Replace Quotron With ADP's FS-Partner
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
Bear Stearns & Co. has chosen to replace its Quotron Systems Inc. front-office quotation system with Automatic Data Processing Inc.'s FS-Partner as part of a front- and back-office service package.
At the same time, Oppenheimer & Co. plans to begin swapping out Quotron terminals for ADP FS-Partners in about 90 days, sources say. Oppenheimer officials plan to alert brokers of the decision with an internal memo this week.
The decisions come as another blow to Quotron, which has already lost two
