Buy-Side Technology Awards 2014: Best Cloud Provider to the Buy Side—BT
This continued recognition in both panel-judged and user-voted programs isn’t simply brand recognition—it’s a mark of Radianz’s continued dominance in its technology niche, despite fierce competition from other service providers as the cloud beds in across the financial services industry. Radianz’s reach cannot be matched, with direct access offered in over 60 countries, and an extended presence in over 170 territories in total.
The cloud is merely the base of the technology’s power, however, and in 2014, BT has continued to provide further services for Radianz clients that tie into the wider BT ecosystem. The release of Netrix Hi-Touch turrets earlier in the year natively tied the physical desk into the virtual, demonstrating that the symbiosis between the way technology works and how it’s used by its consumers continues to strengthen. In a similar vein, the release of BT One Voice Radianz fully integrates telecommunications with the raw power of the cloud, delivering video and voice in a single mechanism that requires no infrastructural decoupling for end-users.
In the wider world, cloud is now so ubiquitous that it almost seems trite to separate it from the standard mechanism through which modern technology operates and is consumed. The financial services industry has been hesitant in the past to adopt it so fully, but technologies and services such as those operated by BT Group provide a window into the future, one where the ways in which firms used to operate will seem somewhat archaic and quaint by comparison. The global adoption of the internet may have started us down this road, but it is the intelligent application of products and services that perpetuates its proliferation and extends the highway further. BT Group, with its continued success and development of Radianz, has forged the way ahead, and, if its recent awards success is anything to go by, it is likely to retain that position for the foreseeable future.
This continued recognition in both panel-judged and user-voted programs isn’t simply brand recognition—it’s a mark of Radianz’s continued dominance in its technology niche.
