Advent Developed New Qube Contact Management System Based On Plaid Source Code

A little known fact about Advent Software Inc.'s newly released Windows-based contact management system, known as Qube, is that the system is based on software purchased from Plaid Brothers Software. Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Plaid Brothers has been selling investment management software since 1983; the vendor typically sells core software to user firms, which then customize the system for their own purposes.
