Thomson focuses on fixed income with Yield One

NEW YORK -- Thomson Financial has acquired Quant Trading to bolster its fixed-income offerings and is due to launch Thomson Yield One, a fixed-income component of its Thomson One application framework, in June.

The Toronto-based company also says installations of Thomson Advisor One -- another new component of the Thomson One suite, combining wealth management functions with market data -- aimed at retailers, would start in mid-year.
