Abbey National signs with DataSynapse

LONDON -- Abbey National Treasury Services (ANTS), a branch of UK-based Abbey National Group, is using grid computing to support the compute-intensive trading and risk functions of its credit derivatives business. ANTS has deployed two products -- GridServer and LiveCluster 3G -- from New York-based distributed computing specialist DataSynapse, in order to reduce the amount of time spent on overnight batch reports, Monte Carlo simulations and stress testing.
