Windows-Eager Reich & Tang Goes Live With Advent's Axys

REICH & Tang L.P.'s capital management group, lately a division of New England Investment Companies L.P., has gone live with Advent Software Systems Inc.'s Axys portfolio accounting and management system. The group rolled out Axys, Advent's Microsoft Corp. Windows 3.1-based product, late last month to support its equity and fixed-income portfolio managers. In selecting Axys, the firm has abandoned Santa Cruz Operation's SCO Unix, the operating system under which its former portfolio management
