Primark To Acquire Disclosure, Will Add Databases To Workstation For Managers

Primark Corp. is planning to acquire Disclosure Inc. from Netherlands-based VNU B.V. for $200 million. The deal, which could take the next four to six weeks to finalize, will give Primark control of the I/B/E/S (Institutional Brokers Estimate Service) Inc. earnings estimates database, Disclosure's databases as well as Disclosure's 50 percent stake in Worldscope/Disclosure International Partners.
