MetLife Completes Evaluation Of Magnus Portfolio System; Meanwhile, New CIO Takes Over

Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. has completed a so-called trial evaluation of Magnus Software Corp.'s Securities Management System (SMS). Separately, MetLife announced that it has appointed James Logan as its new chief information officer and senior vice president. Logan previously was vice president of the company's group insurance staff operations.
MetLife evaluated Magnus' portfolio management and accounting system in order to determine whether the system could support the firm's traders
