Eagle chief executive leaves the nest
Eagle Investment Systems, a unit of Mellon Financial that develops browser-based systems for the buy-side, has announced the retirement of chief executive Jack Riley at the end of 2003.
A co-founder of the firm, Riley has been chief executive for the past 13 years. David Palten, co-founder and president, will assume his duties and report to Mellon vice-chairman Jim Palermo. With more than 20 years’ experience, Palten has also held positions at Aetna Life and
