One Year Ago…

American Century Investments released a thin-client portfolio management platform. Called Apex, the system--barely five-months old--was already into development of its second version. Rob Aneweer, the company’s programming manager for investment management, attributes the speedy upgrade to Java’s strength in expediting software development. Worked commenced at the start of January and was finished by the end of March. The first group of users went live in April and work on Version 2
