SunGard tweaks derivatives platform
SunGard Futures Systems, an operating unit of SunGard, has enhanced its GMI derivatives processing and accounting system to process and clear energy contracts on the International Petroleum Exchange, the European Energy Derivatives Exchange, the UK Power Exchange, and LCH Clearnet's Enclear OTC Energy Services, which clears bilateral transactions.
In June 2004, ABN Amro announced its centralised clearing initiative across six natural gas and power markets
