Algo/Bloomberg alliance yields second-generation risk platform

BOSTON – Algorithmics, a provider of enterprise risk management technology, and Bloomberg unveiled version 1.5 of the Algo Risk application at Algorithmics' annual conference (ARC 2004) in Boston.

Speaking at ARC 2004, Algorithmics' Benoit Fleury, director of Algo/Bloomberg solutions, said the alliance, launched in mid-2003, has already yielded "dozens" of buy-side clients "from a variety of geographic locations" for the Toronto firm.
