Primark Corp. subsidiary Vestek reported that it was able to make accurate forecasts of fund performance by matching high-end analytics and historic performance data with its own Vestek Select service. Introduced in 1998, the service had already signed approximately 80 buy-side firms to its client list, the most recent additions being Oakmark Funds of Chicago and RS Investment Management of San Francisco--formerly Robertson Stephens (Aug. 2, 1999).
