SALES AND EARNINGS CLIMB FOR ADVENT
Advent Software reported a third quarter revenue increase to $18.6 million, up 44 per cent from the same period last year. During the third quarter net income rose 53 per cent to $3.1 million. Through the first nine months of 1998, net income was $2.7 million, while revenue increased to $49.4 million. The fiscal results included a one-time, acquisition-related write-off in the second quarter.
