Aigrain to chair LCH.Clearnet

LCH.Clearnet, the exchange and OTC derivatives clearing service provider, has named Jacques Aigrain as its new non-executive chairman based in London.

Aigrain succeeds Chris Tupker, who is stepping down. He comes to LCH.Clearnet after serving as chief executive of Swiss Re from 2006 to 2009. Aigrain first joined the reinsurer in 2001 and has also held positions at JP Morgan Chase.
