Carrhae Capital Turns to Advent

Carrhae Capital, a London-based hedge fund launched in 2011, today announced that it is now live on Advent's hedge fund solution, which includes Geneva.

Anticipating further growth, Carrhae began implementation of the solution in October 2011, with the hedge fund seeking a range of functional capabilities─real-time dashboards and reports for accurate P&L, streamlined cash, position, and transaction reconciliation, and full synthetic equity asset class coverage─and integration to all main counterparties. The new solution will ultimately help the firm "scale and continually meet the requirements of the most demanding institutional investors", notes Adrian Headon Carrhae Capital's chief operating officer. Carrhae launched a new Master Fund in December 2011.

For Advent, which works with firms in sixty countries, the move affirms the growing reputation of its hedge fund solution in the region. "The rapid time to market and low cost of ownership reinforce the continued appeal of our solutions for startup hedge funds in the UK," says Håkan Valberg, senior vice president and general manager of Advent Software EMEA.
