Dublin-based investment management firm GAM, which has $48 billion in assets under management, has joined SunGard's Global Network to distribute its mutual fund products.
SunGard's global network provides access to investors through the National Securities Clearing Corporation Fund/SERV platform.
"As an active investment manager, we looked for a cost-effective solution that provides reliable connectivity with investors, with the option to expand to other regions quickly," says Gary Coffey, director of shareholder services at GAM. "With SunGard's Global Network, SunGard offers a flexible global fund trading hub that helps meet our need for efficiency and fast time to market, combined with the opportunity for investors to gain access to a broader selection of our fund products."
