PhilipCapital Singapore, a brokerage firm with $18 billion under management, has gone live on Calastone's automated funds order routing service.
The Singapore broker hopes the electronic network will provide increased efficiency, reliability and speed.
"At PhillipCapital, we encourage innovation and have always invested in technology to improve the delivery of our product and services," says Loh Hoon Sun, managing director of Phillip Securities. "We are delighted to adopt Calastone's transaction network to bring tremendous benefits to the business."
Schroders has also connected its domestic funds to the network, which was launched in Singapore in June.
