Nomura Taps NRI for Wealth Management Help

Nomura Securities has selected the NRI Advisor platform from Nomura Research Institute (NRI), the unrelated Tokyo-based systems provider. NRI Advisor, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) wealth management solution for financial advisors, gives the Nomura Securities wealth management team the ability to provide tailored customer relationship management (CRM).

NRI Advisor enables those advisors to access clients' real-time financial information, such as positions, transactions and contract details, through its architecture that also includes a built-in interface with The Star, NRI's back-office solution suite for broker-dealers.

"As advisors increasingly need real-time client information, we are honored to be able to deliver our NRI Advisor platform to Nomura Securities to allow its wealth management sales force to be more agile," says Shin Kusunoki, corporate SVP and financial systems division manager at NRI. "The SaaS model of our platform provides Nomura Securities a cost-effective way to offer bespoke services to each and every client."

In addition to the current wealth management CRM functionalities, NRI will provide client reporting tools and an application suite for mobile devices.
