Various regulations are including enhanced KYC requirements.

While the information provider launched the KYC platform proper in March, the web-based interface now allows for on-boarding, client completion of KYC forms and sharing of identity documents. The service is free for clients of asset managers, hedge funds, corporates and correspondent banks.

"We are delighted to have reached this critical point in pioneering KYC managed aged services, working with end-clients and financial institutions alike to develop a complete end-to-end user interface to facilitate the KYC on-boarding and remediation process," says Anna Mazzone, head of KYC at Thomson Reuters.

Current clients include Thomson Reuters Transaction Services, and the firm is in discussions with swap execution facility operator Tradeweb.
