MarketAxess Adds Four Dealers to its European Platform

The Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ), the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Mizuho, and Toronto-Dominion (TD) have joined the MarketAxess system.

MarketAxess has over 90 global participants on its credit trading systems.

The Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ), the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Mizuho, and Toronto-Dominion (TD) have joined the MarketAxess system. There are now 34 broker-dealers on the platform.

"We are delighted to add MarketAxess to our existing electronic trading offering for European credit," says Graham Halliday, the head of fixed-income trading at Mizuho. "Broadening investor coverage is essential in further enhancing our established profile in this area. Electronic trading is the key medium underpinning the rapid growth of our European credit franchise."

MarketAxess Europe has also recently enhanced liquidity in Asian credit through its Singaporean branch with the addition of DBS Bank.
