Thomson Reuters Bows Mobile Eikon Messenger App to Decouple from Desktops, Expand User Base Beyond Financials

The Eikon Messenger app is currently available for BlackBerry and Apple iPhone and iPad devices and will be rolled out for Android devices in the coming weeks. Users log in using the same user ID and password as for their Eikon terminal, which will automatically log them out every time they log in via a mobile device.

The app is available free of charge to users of Thomson Reuters' Eikon desktop terminal and users of its standalone Eikon Messenger service, and will provide the same functionality

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
