On Oct. 8, Spread Networks will roll out the lower latency, which provides one-way cabinet-to-cabinet demarcation latency of 90.2 microseconds —or 180.4 microseconds roundtrip, down from 189.6 microseconds roundtrip before—and because of the 5Gbps bandwidth is able to proves a 64-byte data packet in 100 nanoseconds, which officials say is five times faster than other low-latency networks.
