Thomson Regroups for Asia

Thomson Financial will release local language versions of Thomson One for Investment Management and Investment Banking in the second quarter to help increase its market share in Asia, officials tell Inside Market Data.

The company says numerous personnel changes will support that effort, although the managing director for Asia has decided to leave.

Asia currently contributes less than five percent of Thomson's global revenues, says Donal Smith, president and COO, Europe and Asia. To change that
