Reuters Dominates Merrill Lynch With 3000 Xtra, Kobra

LONDON--Reuters will dominate the trading rooms in Merrill Lynch’s new European headquarters now that Merrill has decided to take up to 1,200 positions of the Reuters 3000 Xtra information product, sitting on top of Kobra data display applications. The bank will also use Tibco’s The Information Bus Rendezvous (TIB/RV) as its messaging platform.
