International Thomson Reported In Talks To Buy MMS; Deal Would Strengthen Hand In Real-Time Debt Market Analysis

THIS MONTH'S LEAD STORIES

In the midst of reports that it's about to be gobbled up by International Thomson Organization, Ltd., MMS International has established its own distribution system to supplement its familiar vendor networks. Its new broadcast service, MMS Direct, allows PC users to receive the MMS economic analysis and commentary that once had been available only through vendors like Telerate.

Whether MMS will become the next to join the ever-growing Thomson Infinet harem of companies remains to be seen
