Equatorial Communications Co. reports fourth-quarter net of $23,000 on sales of $17.7 million. Earnings in year-ago quarter were $1.67 million ($.15/share) on sales of $10.9 million. For year, firm reports $1.39 million loss on continuing operations, but net of $1.8 million ($.14/share) with one-time credits from early retirement of debt and tax-loss carryforwards. 1985 revenues were $56.1 million, up from $38.3 million in 1984.
