Reuters to Link Sales and Support

Reuters is rolling out a new project that will link the telesales and support functions and bring its three sales channels closer together, officials tell Inside Market Data.

The strategy, dubbed "Customer First," has several elements. The first is to co-ordinate Reuters’ sales teams with the customer support and administrative and billing functions. The goal is to automate these latter functions and then keep the three groups co-ordinated and up to date about each customer.
