Reuters Promotes Veteran in Asia

Industry veteran David Becker, head of treasury and fixed income, Reuters Asia, has taken on an additional role as head of sales and trading in the region, Reuters officials confirm.

Becker, who is based in Singapore, is now responsible for the strategic delivery of the sales and trading business strategy and tactical support of the sales effort on issues relating to customer propositions and products in the region.

His direct role includes growing Reuters' core business among end users who are
