GFI Mgmt Team Named As KRF Deal Is Set To Close

Global Financial Information's acquisition of Knight-Ridder Financial for $275 million was set to close at press time--two months after GFI first announced the deal (IMD, May 20). With the acquisition of Knight-Ridder Financial--which will now be called KRF--almost finalized, GFI has named its new senior management team and has set plans to integrate products. The venture is also looking at ways to cut costs.
