In discussing Flaschen's departure from Thomson Financial and what he had achieved for the company, one insider quite happily remarked 'well he did take the services out of Thomson Financial,' referring to his rebranding effort.

The latest rumours in the market suggest that a peacemaking deal may be close at hand regarding royalty fees that Bridge's Telerate has to pay Cantor. It appears that Bridge might fork out a lump sum to pay Cantor for the Treasury data through 2006. Market Insider think
