FIF Offers Planning Model To Assess Capicity Risk

NEW YORK--The Financial Information Forum (FIF) last week launched their Capacity Planning Model at a presentation hosted at Salomon Smith Barney's downtown Manhattan office. The presentation described the new model and released baseline traffic projections for the Nasdaq, Consolidated Tape Association (CTA) and Options Price Reporting Association (OPRA) data.

Developed by a cross-industry committee, the model aims to establish a common understanding across the industry for capacity planning
