Under New Chief, Telerate France Sees High Turnover

Under Jesus Alvarez, who six months ago became the chief of Telerate's office in France, nearly 45 per cent of the vendor's French staff has departed. Out of a work force of some 75 employees, 31 either have been laid off or resigned. The eye-popping turnover rate is said to be due both to Alvarez' desire to implement wholesale changes in the poorly performing office, and to the angry reactions to those changes.
