Globalview And DTN Form Globaldata Joint Venture To Provide Data, Analytics

LONDON--GlobalView Software, in a joint venture with Data Transmission Network (DTN), has established a new company called GlobalData. The five-year contract signed last month provides each company with a 50 per cent share of the joint venture.
The GlobalData alliance aims to push the American-based companies' information and services into the global market to compete with existing data vendors.
Although GlobalData is initially targeted at the energy markets, it plans to move into the non-energy
