Market Insider hears that Primark is on the verge of purchasing a small London-based software consultancy company that could be mistaken for an Italian opera. The company, which is relatively new, is made up of a lot of well-known former Telerate bods. Neither side would comment, but it seems to Market Insider that Primark is looking more for the company's people to boost its own consulting efforts, rather than products or customer contracts.
