Media Conference Yields No Vendor Surprises


For the past 30 years, PaineWebber (now UBS PaineWebber, soon to be UBS) has hosted a week-long media seminar in New York. This year’s was held last week. Representatives from publishers, media and entertainment companies, as well as advertising agencies and market data vendors, attended. We missed the World Wide Wrestling Entertainment show but caught the Thomson and Reuters presentations (not quite as exciting, we suspect).
