Philadelphia Exchange To Offer Feed Of Implied Volatility Rates Directly To Vendors

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) will provide Reuters and Telerate with a direct feed of implied volatility rates on its currency options contracts, free of charge. The move is part of a PHLX effort to more effectively reach customers and to compete with the OTC currency options market, which almost always quotes currency options in terms of implied volatility.

Sometime this summer, PHLX officials say, vendors Reuters and Telerate will begin receiving the exchange's feed of implied
