Two U.S. agribusiness companies have formed a partnership with the Illinois Farm Bureau to build on the bureau's FarmDayta service. The partnership plans to add delayed commodities futures prices to FarmDayta's existing mix of local weather and news reports. The proposed service, which will retain the FarmDayta name, will compete with existing low-cost agricultural services such as Data Transmission Network Inc.
