Reuters, Telerate Slow To Carry New CME Prices

Sometimes things don't go according to plan -- even for Reuters and Dow Jones Telerate. On Sept. 12, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange launched a Deutsche mark Currency Forwards product but Reuters and Telerate didn't carry the new product's swaps data. However, Bloomberg and Knight- Ridder -- the other vendors redistributing the prices -- had no problem offering the CME's swaps quotes.
