OPRA To Seek Increase And Restructuring Of Fees For Data

Officials of the Options Price Reporting Authority (OPRA) confirmed last week that they plan to seek approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to raise the fees charged to end users of OPRA data. In addition, OPRA will seek a revamp of the current fee structure to reduce the number of user classifications and to introduce a separate set of fees for members of the five exchanges whose options data the OPRA feed distributes.
