Pont Files For Chapter 11 In The U.S. As Twelfth-Hour Talks Continue In London

Pont Data Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Pont Data Ltd., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week. Pont last year was seeking a capital infusion to power its international expansion plans, and has since found itself unable to meet existing expenses (IMD, Aug 5, 1991).
