The Securities and Exchange Commission last week appointed Charles Boucher as chief information officer and director of its office of IT, responsible for directing the SEC's IT systems, including its Edgar database of company filings and its replacement, IDEA. Boucher was previously an executive director at Morgan Stanley, responsible for infrastructure technology audits, prior to which he was senior vice president and chief information officer at Standard & Poor's.
