MTS Enlists Fixnetix for Low-Latency Data
The vendor has developed a proprietary feed handler to collect data from the source by tapping directly into MTS' point of presence in Milan, from where Fixnetix delivers the data via a dedicated fiber network to its London hub. The data can then be distributed to financial firms based in London, according to Alasdair Moore, director at Fixnetix.
Fixnetix is currently testing the service with an un-named London-based broker that is taking the low-latency feed and distributing it internally over
