Kavan Quits Thomson, Frank Steps Up
Thomson Reuters last week confirmed the resignation of Suresh Kavan, president of the Investment & Advisory division of Thomson Reuters Markets, who is leaving the vendor to become chief executive of DMGI, the Stamford, Conn.-based business information division of UK publishing group The Daily Mail and General Trust. Kavan joined earnings estimates provider I/B/E/S as a sales executive in 1987 and rose to president and CEO prior to its purchase by Primark
