Thomson Adds S&P Evaluations

Thomson Financial is to introduce fixed income evaluated prices from Standard & Poor's Securities Evaluations business to its Intraday Snapshot Service, Thomas Aubrey, investment managing director at Thomson, tells Inside Market Data.

"There are always going to be certain asset classes that are harder to value, particularly in structured finance, so we knew that for our offering to continue to improve… we had to look at this internally or look at a third party in the marketplace," Aubrey says.
