has acquired the news filtering and distribution technology and client contacts of ADP/ISS, the news integration unit of ADP's Brokerage Services Group. The former Investment Software Systems was acquired by ADP in 1995. As part of the deal, ISS will provide consulting services to ADP and ongoing support for ADP's K2 workstation, which relies on ISS filtering technology. Carl Tarabelli, former president of ISS, says the management and staff of ISS will form the nucleus of Desktop
