Primark Buys Tosca To Speed Development Of Triarch Feedhandlers

LONDON--Primark has acquired "several parts" of market data consulting company The One Software Company (Tosca), in order to speed up its time-to-market publishing data sets onto the Reuters Triarch data distribution platform.

Tosca, formed only a year ago by three ex-Dow Jones Markets Workstation developers (TTW, Dec. 14, 1998), provides market data consulting services as well as software to publish data to various platforms. The purchase is said to be for a consideration of around £1 million (
