Ex-Reuters Exec to Head MDSL
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
LONDON--Simon Thomson, the former marketing director at Reuters and former CEO of its subsidiary Lipper, has emerged at Market Data Services Ltd. (MDSL) as group chief executive.
Thomson, who up until last year was chief administrative officer for Reuters America, will be based in the US and will report to Ben Mendoza, founder of MDSL. Mendoza is now chairman and will continue to act as chief technology officer.
