Instinet Plans 1999 Integration With Reuters Market Data Via ActiveX Technology

NEW YORK: Instinet is set to mix real-time market data from Reuters America, its parent company, into a 32-bit version of its Research & Analytics (R&A) service. The R&A upgrade, due to be introduced in early 1999, will make use of Microsoft's ActiveX technology--which was also at the heart of the Reuters Plus and 3000 IP market data service's launched earlier in the year.
